Columns and Lineage
Inspect a table's columns and trace its upstream and downstream lineage.
Once you select a table in the Catalog tab of the helper drawer, two additional tabs are available alongside Details: Columns and Lineage. Together, they give you — and the agent — the full picture of how a table is shaped and where it fits in your data stack.
Columns
The Columns tab lists every column in the table with:
Name
Type — shown as a badge; hover over it to see the full type if it's truncated.
Nullable — whether the column allows null values (Yes/No).

Lineage
The Lineage tab shows an interactive graph with the selected table centered, its upstream sources to the left and its downstream consumers to the right, connected by animated edges.
Each node has expand buttons to reveal further upstream or downstream tables. Metadata for newly revealed tables loads on demand, with a loading indicator while it fetches.
Once you've expanded any node, a floating Reset view button appears, letting you collapse the graph back to the original one-hop view centered on your table.
This lets you quickly understand where a table's data comes from and what depends on it, without leaving the agent conversation.
