# dbtCloud
dbtCloud is a managed environment for developing, scheduling, and observing your dbt workflows.
By providing access to Upriver’s agent, it will be able to gather context from your dbt projects, jobs, runs, and metadata. This allows it to support your daily work, answer questions about your models, and help you troubleshoot with ease.

## Retrieve the Account Access URL and Account ID
1. Navigate to *Account Settings* page*.*
2. Under **Account information,** copy the **Account ID**.
3. Under **Access URLs,** copy the **Access URL**.
## How to Generate an API Token
1. Navigate to the API Key page
* Log in to the dbt Cloud platform.
* Go to your *Account* *Settings* → *API Tokens* → Service tokens.
* Click on “+ Create service token"
2. Choose the level of permissions
* Select the appropriate role for the token.
* *Read-Only* level is recommended for read-only access.
3. Copy the token and provide it to Upriver
* The token will only be shown once — copy it immediately.
* Share it with Upriver so it can be used for integration or API access.
